Buffalo Hard Drive Data Recovery
Computer Emergency can get data back from both internal Buffalo and external Buffalo hard drives, including DriveStation drives, raid configured drives, NAS drives, memory cards and phones. Whether they have been reformatted, crashed, clicking noises or cant be read by your computer, your best chance of getting your data back is to turn the computer or device off immediately.
Our technician can be on your door step within around 30 minutes and provide and initial assessment. Standard fees apply. On average, 50% of the drives we see can be recovered at our office within a day or two. If the drive is physically damaged and needs to be open in a clean room for repair (dust free environment to protect the disk platter) we will express post it to our partner at our expense for free assessment. Recovery can still usually be done within a few days but will depend on the extent of the damage and backlog of work.
Once the Buffalo drive arrives at our partners lab your drive will be given priority in it’s assessment. Once the problem has been identified a quote will be given for your approval. There is a no file, no fee policy with a few exceptions where a small fee may be charged for an attempt at a very badly damaged drive.
During your Buffalo data recovery we can provide snapshots of the drive contents to ensure you are getting the correct files before you approve the recovery process.
Once recovery is complete, files can be loaded to the cloud via a secure host and a link provided to you for download at your leisure. Files will be available for 30 days. Should your recovered data be too large for cloud hosting you will be required to provide another hard drive to copy the data to. Alternatively, we offer very competitive hard drive prices so you are more than welcome to purchase from us.
